If you are booking your own test, either through the DVSA website or by using a cancellation app, please check these dates first. These are the dates I will be unavailable for tests. If you book a test on one of these dates then it will be your responsibility to find an instructor to take you or to find a suitable car with the relevant insurance and accompanying driver. Please also be aware that I only cover Canterbury and Herne Bay Test Centres. If you book a test at another centre, such as Ashford or Folkestone, I do not know these towns as well nor do I know their test routes and will be unable to present you for test.

PLEASE NOTE: due to the current shortage of test slots many people are calling to say that they have a test booked in the next 1 or 2 weeks and they 'only need a couple of hours' or 'could they borrow the car for the test'. I'm afraid this will result in disappointment. I require a minimum of 6 weeks lead up to test; this will allow for an initial assessment of your driving and any further tuition required to get you to test standard.

Agreement to take you for an assessment does not constitute an agreement to take you to test. If I don't think you will be ready in time I will tell you and will not present you.

Furthermore, if you are coming from outside the area you will require at least 6 hours to familiarise yourself with the local routes. Please be prepared for the extra travel costs that this will incur.

DVSA will occasionally release tests on a Sunday. I DO NOT WORK ON SUNDAYS! If you book one of these tests I will not be available to present you for it.

May 2024: 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, 9th, 11th, 13th, 14th, 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st

June 2024: 4th, 8th, 15th, 20th

July 2024: 4th, 10th, 13th, 20th, 30th

​

August 2024: 6th, 13th, 24th

​

September 2024: 4th, 12th
